Darrian Gerard

Darrian Gerard is a Canadian pop-rock artist from Duncan, British Columbia who writes, records, and produces her own music from her home studio. A multi-instrumentalist since childhood, Gerard first picked up guitar at age seven and has since expanded to bass, piano, drums, and vocals, shaping a self-driven sound that blends melodic pop sensibilities with the energy of alternative rock.

Launching her professional career in 2021, Gerard has steadily built momentum through a string of independent releases that have earned international blog coverage, commercial and campus radio play, and growing traction across streaming platforms and social media. Her work has been recognized by industry tastemakers, including being named to CBC Music’s Searchlight Elite 50, selected as Band of the Month by The Zone @ 91.3, and participating in the OHSOTO’KINO Music Incubator.
Gerard has also begun establishing herself as a compelling live performer, appearing on festival stages including the Phillips Backyard Music Festival, Laketown Shakedown Festival, and being selected to showcase at BreakOut West in Winnipeg and Women in Music BC Summit in Toronto. In 2025, she reached a major milestone when she opened for Nickelback, marking a significant step forward in her live career.

Looking ahead, Gerard is set to open for Our Lady Peace at the Great Canadian Bash in summer 2026 and has new music continuously releasing as she continues to expand her audience and establish herself as one of Canada’s emerging independent pop-rock artists.
